Planter Large Square Re-Cycled Timber

Ready for your garden, a beautiful large country style square wooden planter, hand made, by me from all RE-PURPOSED treated timber designed to give a statement display in any your garden or even a public location. Square shape with finishing trim to the top and corners for a neat, impressive finish.  The timber is use is sanded and smoothed to bring out the natural pattern and grain. Gaps in the slats allow air in for healthy roots and for plants to grow out between the slats for a nice effect if required. The base is made with diagonal slats to give extra strenght and stability.  A set on four wooden round feet to raise the planter above the ground. Robust assembly. 15-18mm spruce timber is treated for outdoor use and then coated in an exterior oil giving a natural yellow/grey pine finish but you can paint in your choice of colour or stain later if you wish. Planters will survive outdoor conditions for many years. I recommend bringing the planter inside every 2 or 3 years during the winter for even longer life. All material is re-purposed timber and I choose the best possible pieces with some markings and knots in places. Surfaces are rubbed down and checked for safety and presentation. Packed in re-cycled packaging. APPROX EXTERNAL DIMENSIONS to edge of trim, 68x68cm. (27x27"). Planter height is 35cm (14"). The INTERNAL DIMENSIONS ARE 53x53x30cm (21x21x12"). All dimensions are approximate. Planter volume is approximately 80 litres and so it will take 80 litres of compost. Dimensions and colour may vary due to the nature of the material available at the time of making your planter. Every planter is individual.
