Bed Side Table Oak

This is a modern, clean and stylish designed oak bedside table. Designed and then hand made by me at Hillsigns from American Oak using a hidden joint for the top and a Japanese wedge joint for the base. A handcrafted wooden side table with a natural wood grain finish. The table has a unique C-shape design, with a solid base and a curved cornered  top that can be used to place items such as books, drinks, or a laptop. The design is elegant, consisting of just three sections bonded together bringing out the best in the wood. I finish the product with two coats of beeswax giving a beautiful smooth finish and further accentuating the lovely wood grain. Four plastic (rather than rubber) feet are fitted with stainless steel fittings to the underside of the base to lift the table just clear of the hard surface it is designed to stand on. If positioned on carpet there may be a need to use different feet to push through the carpet pile and stabilise the table. The table is 510mm high, 320mm wide and 400mm deep. The oak is 27mm thick and sourced locally. I cut it roughly to size and then plane the wood before sanding. Oak pieces are bonded together to form each section and then machined to exact dimensions before final assembly, sanding and finishing.
The table is carefully wrapped and packed before shipping to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
